Jacklyn

Jacklyn

Dental Hygienist

“I am from Pennsylvania and spent most of my life there until about three years ago. I currently reside here in Idaho, where my husband is stationed with the Air Force. I’ve absolutely fallen in love with Idaho, especially living in the small town of Mountain Home.”

Why did you choose dentistry?
“I chose dentistry because growing up, I loved the dental office. I loved getting my teeth cleaned! Early in my dental education, I realized it’s so much more than a “fun” environment. It’s getting to help people become (most importantly) pain-free, confident, and excited about their smiles!”

What’s the best part of your job?
“The best part of my job is working with patients who experience dental anxieties. I love getting to work with them and figure out where the anxiety stems from. Most patients only fear one aspect of it, and that’s usually pain and discomfort. I really strive to make patients comfortable. I encourage them to be very open and honest with me about what they are experiencing. We most always can adjust whatever we need to do to create a comfortable and positive experience.”

What aspect of your personality adds the most value to the office?
“I try to always be a team player when it comes to the office. I try my best to learn many things outside of hygiene to be flexible. This allows smooth days for not only our patients but for our team.”

What do you do outside of the office?
“I love spending time with my husband and our cat, Jasmine. During the summer, I enjoy small-town rodeos with my friends and, of course, exploring as much as I can!”

What’s an interesting fact about yourself?
“My husband has been stationed in England as well as Japan (our cat Jasmine is actually Japanese). I’ve gotten to travel outside of the US more than I have traveled in the US.”

Innovative Ways Using Advanced Technology

The combined expertise and technological advancement of Mountain Home Dentistry Co. in providing great services for you and your family

  • Digital Imaging Equipment

Digital imaging allows us to capture and review the images of your dental coverage: intra and extra-oral images of the gateway of your body. This enables us, your oral health care providers, to come up with the specific treatment or procedure you need.

  • 3D Printer

This imaging and printing tool serves as our guide in dental, craniomaxillofacial, or orthopedic implant surgery, and the framework for dental restorations. This enables us to provide you with customizable dental molds befitting your specific needs.

  • Dental Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT)

This equipment allows us to access 3D images of the structure of your teeth, nerve pathways, and soft tissues, which dental or facial X-rays cannot provide. This allows us to prepare carefully for procedures or treatments, especially dental implants.
